What is the difference between the canvas and nylon material?Updated 12 days ago
While both materials are durable, water-resistant, and sustainably sourced, they differ in their origin and finish:
The Source: Made from recycled plastic bottles (RPET). Using RPET gives new life to plastic that would otherwise end up in a landfill or our oceans.
The Look & Feel: It has a classic, matte, textured "canvas-like" feel. It is sturdy and has a traditional fabric appearance.
The Source: Made from pre-consumer fabric waste, such as scraps and offcuts that would otherwise be thrown out and are instead spun into new material.
The Look & Feel: It has a sleek, smooth feel with a slightly shiny finish. It is soft to the touch and offers a more contemporary look.
What they have in common: Both materials are treated with a C0 water-repellent coating to keep your belongings dry. This coating is eco-friendly, compliant with EU Laws, and completely free of harmful chemicals like PFOS or PFOA.
